Day 1

Arrive in Galle (approx. 2 hrs. - 155km)

Galle's historical appearance is Portuguese and Southeast Asia, and it is known as the fortified city because it was built by the Portugese. As you wander around this city, you will see the resemblance of Europe through its monuments. Since it is also surrounded by the sea and a distinct culture, it all adds up to a unique way of life in Galle. Day 2

Galle - Balpitiya - Kosgoda - Bentota (approx. 2 hrs. - 70km)

Go on a wonderful boat ride down the Madu River to witness its flourishing ecosystem. Kayak through the Madu River mangrove forest to witness water birds, crocodiles, and water monitors in their natural habitat. You can enjoy the healing properties of the famous fish massage at Madu River. Visit one of the little islands inhabited by cinnamon harvesters of Sri Lanka. Kosgoda Turtle Care Center is popular since Kosgoda is home to all five turtle species in the Indian Ocean. This is not the case with many other turtle hatcheries on the island, whose beaches only host a subset of the species. The Turtle Care Centre at Kosgoda beach is one of 18 turtle hatcheries on the Southern coast of Sri Lanka. The center is located in the South Western coastal village of Kosgoda and was established in 1981.

Bentota

Children aged two to six receive a 60 percent discount on the per-person adult rate for transfers, excursions and package tours, provided they share a room with two adults.
Children aged seven to twelve receive a 50 percent discount on the per-person adult rate for transfers, excursions and package tours, provided they share a room with two adults.
These discounts apply to a maximum of two children per party. A child who needs a separate room is charged as an adult.
